BEST Photography Contest
BEST exhibitors, increase your communications skills and show off your creativity through photography! The 2011-2012 BEST Photography Contest is accepting entries from snapshots of BEST shows and activities, landscapes, people and around the farm. A panel of qualified judges will critique the photographs based 60 percent on creativity, communication power and composition of photo, and 40 percent on technical quality, such as proper light exposure, true color, sharp focus and correct cropping
Winners will be selected in the four age divisions (Beginner, Junior, Intermediate and Senior) and prizes will be awarded at the BEST banquet. All photographs will be displayed at the OCA BEST banquet.

Contest Rules

There will be a Junior and Senior division offered this year. The Junior division will consist of 8-13 year olds (as of Jan. 1, 2012) and the Senior division will be 14-21 year olds (as of Jan. 1, 2012)

BEST Participant must appear in the video

Video Categories: (1) Humor around the Farm; (2) How-to Demonstration; (3) Promoting the BEST Program

Keep the videos G rated – no profanity!

Videos must be kept under 3 minutes

When submitted, all videos must be sent to the OCA office on DVD’s
-
OCA reserves the right to use any video submitted in conjunction with promoting the BEST program, other OCA events, social media and the OCA website
Contest submissions must be submitted by May 1, 2012
