Special Announcements
No Farm Tags or Identifying Marks. No identifying tags or marks on exhibitors will be permitted at a BEST sanctioned show. This means no farm tags, special show harnesses or marked show shirts are allowed. Only BEST tags, county fair tags, EID tags and brands will be permitted. This rule applies to all animals and exhibitors entered in a BEST sanctioned show, including animals and exhibitors not in the BEST program. If an animal enters the ring with an unacceptable tag or identifying mark it will be disqualified from the show and will earn no points if they are a BEST animal.

Host
The Cedarville Hot Shots 4-H Club, The Greene County Cattlemen's Association and DTS Fraternity welcomes all cattle exhibitors to Roberts Arena in Wilmington. This expanded facility will provide plenty of parking and stalling for the 3 show weekend.

7:00 - 8:00 a.m. - Check-In. Entry cards need to be bought in Show Office prior to bringing animals through check-in.
8:30 a.m. - Show Begins (Show Order: Showmanship (1 showmanship, split rings), steers and heifers will show simultaneously after the conclusion of showmanship.)

Other Information
- Entry fee $50 one ring, $100 two rings, $150 three rings. BEST participants will receive a $5 discount per entry.
- Upon arrival you must be assigned a stall before moving into the barn. No stalls will be reserved prior to the show this year.
- Due to an increase in our rent, tack stalls will be available at no charge, bedded stalls (shavings only) will be available for $10/ weekend. Shavings will be available for purchase. Stalls are horse stalls with no ties. Plan on leaving them loose or bring a 10’gate. Note charge is per stall not per animal!
- Bedding will not be furnished in barn - must be shavings, no straw allowed in barns.
- Be prepared with generators & cords for indoor stalling.
- Trailer Parking with water and electric for each Spot. Perfect for outside Stalling
- Health papers must comply with state requirements.
- Registration papers required for breed classes.
- Steers and market heifers born after 1/1/11
- Breed heifers born on or after 9/1/10
- Steers, Market Heifers and Crossbred Heifers shown by Weight Saturday
- Steers, Market Heifers and Crossbred Heifers shown by Height Sunday
- Breed heifers shown by age
- No heaters or generators allowed in the barn
- Food vendors will be operating in the makeup area.
- Show supplies and bedding will be available
- Show is not responsible for accident, injury or loss
- Show committee decisions are final
- Wheel barrows or muck carts are encouraged due to the location of the manure pits and the size of the indoor facility
